13 days to go before NAKAW in Cannes!

Nakaw, a film by Noel Escondo and Arvin “Kadiboy” Belarmino, will be screened in the Short Film Corner of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

First screened at the Instituto Cervantes’ 15^th Manila Spanish Festival, Nakaw narrates the story of Bateng, a little boy who experienced a series of life-changing events after he stole a purse. The film stars Kristoffer King, Frank Ferguson, Angelo Gammad, Duke San Juan, and Sheika Aljunabi produced by Patsy Ferrer and Michael Cruz.

The film will be showcased along with a number of short films from all over the world. Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner will run from May 22 to 28, 2017.
